Job Description
TITLE: Manager Data Science
DUTIES: Discover Products Inc. seeks Manager Data Science in Riverwoods, IL to provide thought leadership and strategic thinking to translate business problems into analytical framework(s) and independently recommend actions and provide business insights.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Financial Engineering, Finance, Statistics, or a related quantitative field and six (6) years of progressively responsible experience in job offered or related occupation: conducting statistical analyses or building statistical models; utilizing statistical tools, including SQL and MS Excel for analysis and reporting; and participating in loss forecasting process, including forecasting model development, validation, performance monitoring, and model improvement. In the alternative, employer will accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in one of the above-listed fields and four (4) years of experience in the above-listed skills. Telecommuting and/or working from home is permissible pursuant to company policies.
