TITLE: Principal Application Engineer
DUTIES: Pulse Network LLC seeks Principal Application Engineer in Houston, TX to use vast repertoire of delivering high impact software solutions to work intuitively.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field and six (6) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation: developing and enhancing product solutions for digital payment processing; designing end-to-end data management solutions utilizing Amazon Relational Database Services, Oracle, and Couchbase NoSQL database; building resilient and supportable solutions utilizing knowledge on established engineering principles, design patterns, and methodologies; designing, developing, and integrating enterprise software to support business requirements using frameworks, including Angular, Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful web services; creating Batch Components to process high volume external feeds and generate data extracts using Unix shell scripts, Python, Perl, Spring Batch, and Autosys; performing Code Integration and Release Management using technologies, including Jenkins, GitHub, Nexus, Gradle, and Sonar; developing Secure Authentication and Authorization using API Gateways, OAuth, Okta, and JSON Web Tokens; developing transaction and performance monitoring capabilities using AppDynamics and Service Now, and automating process monitoring using Python; and implementing projects using SDLC techniques and Agile Methodologies utilizing Jira Software.
